About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning and Laundry Specialist to join our team at Metro Cleaners 1994 Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dry cleaning and laundry services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure they are in good working condition.

Mix and Add Chemicals

You will mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to ensure the highest quality of cleaning.

Hand Finish and Iron

You will hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to ensure they are perfectly finished.

Assemble and Bag Articles

You will assemble and bag finished articles, ensuring they are ready for customer pickup.

Quality Control

You will check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet our high standards.

Customer Service

You will provide excellent customer service, matching invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles and answering any customer questions.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail

You must have a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of cleaning.

Physical Demands

You will be required to stand for extended periods, so you must be comfortable with this aspect of the job.

Experience

You must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of dry cleaning and laundry processes.

Language

You must be fluent in English, as this is the primary language used in our operations.

Work Schedule

You will be required to work a standard 32-40 hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
