Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Truphan Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This includes installing underground wiring and cables, splicing and connecting wires, and testing and measuring voltage and loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 to 40 hours per week

Education
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
