We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Operations Crew Supervisor to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our Mountain Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of your Lift Operations crew and ensuring a safe and exceptional experience for all crew members and mountain guests.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and oversee lift operations crew members to ensure they are performing at their best.
- Assist in conducting lift operations meetings and arranging for staff breaks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Conduct daily lift inspections and assist with pre-operational checks and closing procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and quality.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for efficient lift operation and make adjustments as needed.
- Coach and motivate staff to maintain a high standard of customer service and provide excellent experiences for our guests.
- Train staff on all operating and safety procedures of detachable, fixed grip, tow, and conveyor lifts to ensure they are equipped to handle any situation.
- Organize daily assignments to lift stations and ensure that all crew members are aware of their responsibilities and tasks.
- Report guest comments, employee relation issues, and liability concerns directly to the Duty Manager to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
- Provide labor for various jobs and tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the lift system.
As a Lift Operations Crew Supervisor, you will provide direct supervision to the following positions: Lift Operators on assigned crew.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required- Minimum 1 season winter operations experience with a proven track record of success.
- Knowledge of Accoravillage policies and procedures, including safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of detachable, fixed grip, tow, and conveyor lift systems and their operation.
- Proven leadership abilities and a positive attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and adapt to changing circumstances.
Lift Operations Crew Supervisors work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, often in varying weather conditions. Hours of operation are weather-dependent, and flexibility in your work schedule is required, including rotations of shifts, day/evening shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Compensation and Benefits- Starting at $21.62/hour - $25.28/hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
