About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush and vibrant landscape.
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Assist with landscape constructions to bring our designs to life.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their optimal health.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot, wet, and dusty conditions. You will also be required to work in a rural area, on construction sites, farms, and landscape contractors.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
