Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a valid Food Safety Awareness certification or equivalent.
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.
  • Work in an accurate, quick, and safe manner.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull wheeled equipment.
  • Possess exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team.
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring we meet residents' diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
  • Support with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
  • Be able to stand or walk for the majority of your shift.
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed, enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program.
  • Smart Serve certification.
