Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Kenan Courier and Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
  • Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks
