We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Pulmonary Function Diagnostics team.
About the RoleThis part-time (0.50 FTE) position is available to provide relief coverage until February 2025, or the return of the incumbent. You will work Mondays and Fridays, from 07:00 to 17:48 hours, and be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients in our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Our Respiratory Therapy Services team offers a dynamic and expanding environment, with recent upgrades to Emergency and Surgical Services and Community Respiratory Therapy Programs. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
- Current valid Driver's License.
