Job Summary:

As a PPI Business System Specialist II, you will play a key role in the implementation of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System within the site. You will work closely with site and business leadership to mature PPI coaching tools and drive a problem-solving and continuous improvement culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze operational opportunities and develop proposals for operational improvement projects to senior management.
- Perform approved operational improvement projects, ensuring projects achieve desired objectives and maintain projects on time and budget.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources and roll-out projects focused on advanced process modeling and visualizations.
- Apply Microsoft Power Automate and Python Programming to create workflows that streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution with studies in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Operations is highly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry and/or Lean manufacturing principles is preferred or an equivalent combination experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience executing operational excellence initiatives or continuous improvement projects.
