We are a cutting-edge firm specializing in technical consulting, design, and programming services for show control and the entertainment industry. Our team is composed of senior recruiters with the skills to make the most of your application and give you every chance.
The successful candidate will engage in client discovery sessions alongside our sales, design, and engineering departments. Key responsibilities include participating in project design meetings with clients, conducting site surveys, and creating comprehensive assessment reports.
In addition, the ideal candidate will analyze user needs and requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. This involves developing AV and Control design packages, including concept block diagrams, system CAD drawings, design narratives, programming specifications, performance specifications, and budget estimates for each phase of the projects.
Effective communication and coordination with clients, installation teams, and creative teams are crucial aspects of this role. The selected individual will also provide technical oversight, network implementation, system configuration, red lines, as-built drawings, commissioning procedures, and address design questions during system integration and commissioning.
This role requires experience in scripting, developing software solutions, or building user interfaces that communicate with other systems, manipulate data, or leverage database back-ends. A strong understanding of electronic control systems and signal processing, as well as familiarity with relays and Programmable Logic Controllers, is a plus.
A preferred degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Programming, Electronics Engineering, Entertainment Technology/Theatre, or Video Production is highly valued. Fluency in English is mandatory.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and challenging projects across various markets and locations. Travel is expected approximately 50% of the time due to the nature of the projects. Onsite environments will vary for each project; employees may be required to wear protective gear on building sites.
We offer a competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include:
