Company Overview: Maple Lane Stables is a reputable hunter/jumper show barn seeking a dedicated and skilled stable hand to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for horse care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience.
Job Description: As a stable hand at Maple Lane Stables, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including turning in/out horses, feeding, mucking stalls, administering first aid, and performing general farm chores. You will also assist with loading/unloading horses from trailers and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the barn.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and reliability. Previous experience working with horses is essential, and knowledge of first aid and equine health would be beneficial.
