Business Intelligence Solutions Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Lead to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto. As a key member of our HR Analytics department, you will design, develop, and implement critical data solutions and business analytics to support agile HR business initiatives and projects.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau, with the ability to operate in an agile manner while understanding what's important in the moment. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into technical action items, and navigating different UIs to extract and join data.
You will also manipulate data from multiple sources into visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI, make calculated assumptions to data where needed, and quickly connect between different data sources conceptually. Additionally, you will assess various approaches to building and delivery of a solution with consideration of stakeholders and other parties involved perspectives and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement critical data solutions and business analytics to support agile HR business initiatives and projects.
- Gather business requirements, translate them into technical action items, and navigate different UIs to extract and join data.
- Manipulate data from multiple sources into visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI.
- Makes calculated assumptions to data where needed.
- Quickly connects between different data sources conceptually.
- Assess various approaches to building and delivery of a solution with consideration of stakeholders and other parties involved perspectives and user experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Able to operate in an agile manner while understanding what's important in the moment.
- Perseveres where there are roadblocks rather than it impeding moving forward in a project.
- System's design thinking with the ability to translate observations into tactical, actionable work.
