Job Title: Structural Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Rimkus Consulting Group. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for the completion of structural engineering design, investigation, and management of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete structural reviews of existing buildings/structures
  2. Complete engineering design assignments and manage projects of various scope and complexity
  3. Work with senior Engineers to complete complex engineering design projects
  4. Apply standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problems
  5. Review and approve structural engineering shop drawings and calculations
  6. Conduct field reviews of structural related construction
  7. Apply design software for structural design
  8. Recommend technological improvements to the department
  9. Assist other engineers in carrying out technical tasks
  10. Provide guidance and direction to junior and student engineers or technicians
  11. Interact with clients as required
  12. Manage and coordinate projects

Qualifications:

  1. Licensed as a Professional Engineer
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience
  3. Professional experience in a consulting engineering or construction engineering environment
  4. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Ability to provide leadership to junior engineers/technicians
  6. Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
  7. Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  8. Self-motivating and ability to multi-task
  9. Good oral and written English communication skills
  10. Ability to act with business integrity and professionalism
  11. Valid Driver's License
