Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc.
Job Summary:The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes the well-being of all children.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the diverse needs of children, including those with special needs.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Lead activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
- Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, music, and physical activity.
- Guide children in developing healthy habits, including eating, dressing, and toilet routines.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
- Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
- College/CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- Basic security clearance, criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
