Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Piller's Fine Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting air and water quality testing, using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and physical and chemical separation techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and laboratory procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing
  • Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy
  • Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments
  • Compile records for analytical studies
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
  • Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures
  • Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus
  • Prepare solutions of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Willing to relocate
