Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, transporting raw materials, measuring and dumping ingredients, and sorting and packaging finished products. They will work closely with the production team to ensure product quality and specifications are met as per JBS food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
* Transporting raw material from warehouse to production floor for further processing
* Measuring and dumping raw material ingredients into processing equipment for blending and mixing
* Working closely with production team to ensure product quality and specifications are met
* Sorting and tray finished product for packaging, wrapping and labeling
* Monitoring and identifying critical control points and advising Supervisor on issues that may impact food safety and quality
* Clearly understanding how to operate production equipment safely
* Packing finished product to pallets for transport to material handling warehouse
* Understanding emergency shut down procedures including identifying all emergency shut down switches on all processing equipment
* Monitoring processing equipment and making minor adjustments as necessary while reporting mechanical problems to team leader/supervisor
* Ensuring processing equipment and production area is clean and sanitized daily

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and 1 to less than 7 months of full-time work experience in a physically demanding job similar to the food processing industry. They must also possess a working knowledge of production equipment and be willing to learn the proper, safe way to perform any task.
