Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at AMP CITY ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for designing and constructing single-phase services for single or multimeter installations, splicing, joining, and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits, and determining appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct single-phase services for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems
  • Supervise other workers
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Electrician will work in various locations, with physically demanding tasks and a focus on attention to detail.
