We are seeking a Communicative Disorder Support Specialist to join our Learning Services team. In this role, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement language intervention programs for students with communicative disorders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering tier 1 whole class communication intervention programs
  • Modeling language development strategies and facilitating language-rich interactions
  • Developing materials to support student learning and teacher collaboration

Requirements for this position include:

  • Diploma from a recognized Communication Disorder Assistants program at a Community College
  • Experience working with the school-aged population, an asset
  • Membership in the CDAAC, an asset
