Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement monitoring and evaluation activities for traffic management and transportation planning programs
  • Develop and maintain databases and reports to track program performance and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address traffic safety concerns and capacity needs
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on traffic operations and safety principles
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in traffic management and transportation planning

Requirements

  • 3-year community college diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or related field
  • Strong knowledge of traffic survey and data collection techniques, public consultation methods, and database management
  • Proficiency in specialized software, including data management, GIS, and road design
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
