Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Risk Placement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial risk placement team, you will work on assigned books and liaise with clients and producers to assess client risk exposures and insurance needs. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Identifying coverage gaps
- Upselling and cross-selling insurance products
- Preparing marketing submissions and proposals
- Coordinating with insuring partners
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of commercial insurance principles and at least 7-10 years of experience in commercial lines brokerage. You should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additional qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM certifications would be considered an asset.
