Job Summary

This is a permanent position with the opportunity to work 8 to 44 hours per week, depending on client needs and availability. As a Care Companion Specialist, you will provide personalized support and assistance to our clients, promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, adapting to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Encourage clients to participate in regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental health.
  • Collect specimens, change non-sterile dressings, and perform light housekeeping duties as required.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and restrictions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate in Personal Support Work or equivalent experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in various locations and adjust to changing circumstances.
