As a claims examiner, you will be responsible for settling home insurance claims, working closely with independent adjusters, and communicating with customers. You must have excellent analytical and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and conflict resolution skills. You will also need to be detail-oriented and organized, able to handle multiple files and tasks with ease. Additionally, you will need to maintain your training and industry knowledge, ensuring that you are up-to-date on the latest claims adjusting practices and procedures. You will also be responsible for providing and receiving constructive feedback, using active listening and questioning skills to understand issues and needs.
