About the Role:

CARFAX Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Developer to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing front-end and back-end applications using C#, JavaScript, and other technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop front-end and back-end applications using C#, JavaScript, and other technologies
  • Assist with the development of APIs, websites, and applications using SQL and other technologies
  • Mentor junior developers to strengthen the team
  • Implement application architectural best practices and understand the functional architecture of our systems
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests
  • Participate in sprint planning with team members
  • Facilitate deployments using automated build and release tools

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or information sciences
  • Strong programming and technical computer skills in C#, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with CSS, mobile application development, responsive design, RESTful web services, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, Jira, automated testing, and deployment
  • Knowledge of Azure micro services, dependency injection, and SOLID design principles and patterns
  • Proven communication skills with technical and non-technical team members
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Collaborative and innovative problem analysis and problem solving
  • Knowledge of performance, CI, CD, automated testing, and quality methodologies
