About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Ying Gao. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Household Management: Handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, work with a guard dog, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work, available for the advertised start date, reside in proximity to the advertised location.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required.
