Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Imaging Specialist to join our team at Selkirk Diagnostic Imaging. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans, assisting radiologists and other physicians, and participating in student teaching programs. You will also be required to perform assigned area functions and demonstrate a commitment to the mission, values, and management philosophy of Shared Health.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one-year Radiology experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Imaging Technology
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists certification exam (CAMRT)
  • Ability to start and establish IVs or commit to acquiring this skill through on-the-job training and formal courses
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel, both internally and externally, and within an inter-disciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to function as an independent, self-directed professional
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical analysis skills

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, pension plan, and paid time off.
