Job Title:

Director of Financial Sustainability Initiatives

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Financial Sustainability Initiatives to lead the implementation of our Financial Sustainability Roadmap. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transformation of our financial operations and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of the Financial Sustainability Roadmap and transformation projects
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Collaborate with the Algonquin College Executive Team and Leadership Team to achieve project goals
  • Supervise a team and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, labour partners, and College community members
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial planning, management, and transformation
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of lean management principles and data science education
