Auto Insurance Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Administrator to join our team at Waypoint. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in preparing and issuing new business, endorsements, and renewal documents for our Auto department.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing Automotive policy documents in Applied Epic, including declaration pages, policy wordings, extensions, endorsements, and warranties. They will also maintain, update, and organize correspondence in Applied Epic as necessary, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
In addition, the Technical Administrator will generate and manage various reports for the business, including renewal reports, commission reports, and AR reports. They will reconcile commission earnings for different Auto departments and stay up-to-date with renewal letters and renewal reports, cross-referencing policy data to ensure prompt handling.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and task-switching abilities. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly and professionally, and willingness to adapt to changes and embrace new challenges.
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who excel in collaborative environments and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- College Diploma in any field (asset)
- 1+ years of experience in administration work (preferred)
- Previous experience in automotive insurance administration or a related field (asset)
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software such as Applied Epic or other similar systems (asset)
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
