The Warehouse Operations Director position is available at Atlas Electrical Supply Ltd. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient management of warehouse operations, ensuring seamless distribution processes, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective warehouse strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise and manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring a secure and healthy work environment for employees.
  • Monitor employee workload and delegate tasks to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
  • Develop and implement incident reports and safety protocols to address any workplace issues.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Effective supervisory skills and techniques, including the ability to delegate tasks and manage staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and other departments.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and practices, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs, with a valid driver's license.
  • Experience working with electrical equipment, with knowledge of electrical safety protocols.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $47.50-$50.00 per hour, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive benefits package.
