About the Role:
Voyis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our supply chain operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for purchasing system components and consumables for manufacturing, coordinating deliveries with suppliers, and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and review materials handling activities, including shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products.
- Plan and coordinate company purchasing activities, including quoting, processing purchasing transactions, and scheduling transportation.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safety and security standards, and regulations in all supply chain activities.
- Resolve various problems relating to the supply chain and implement corrective measures and process improvements.
- Utilize the ERP computer system to plan and document all supply chain and material handling activities.
- Support Production team with inventory management, transfers, adjustments, and cyclical inventory counts.
- Coordinate outbound/inbound shipments to and from destinations worldwide, including providing required customs documentation.
- Assist accounting with cost reconciliation and maintain process documentation for purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain operations role, including purchasing, logistics, or inventory management.
- Post-secondary education in purchasing, supply chain, operations, business, or a similar field.
- Experience with Netsuite ERP system.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of flawless execution of assigned tasks.
- A positive attitude with a continuous strive for improvement and the ability to succeed without all the answers.
- Proven ability to inspire, encourage, and collaborate with your team.
Bonus Points:
- Fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin, needed to communicate with all suppliers.
- ASCM certifications in Procurement or Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with hardware or electrical assembly.
- Passion for underwater discovery and robotics.
