Wind River Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Software Developer to join our team. As a member of our Cloud team, you will work on large-scale projects like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenStack, and contribute to the development of our cloud native platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop high-quality designs and code based on Kubernetes, containerized applications, distributed cloud systems, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Work as part of a team focused on building and maintaining Linux-based platform services that ensure high availability for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Leverage OSTree and Linux package management for upgrade and patching with minimal service outage.
- Develop configuration management solutions using Puppet and Ansible.
- Contribute actively to StarlingX, an open-source project under the OpenStack Foundation.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with Python.
- 5+ years of professional experience in building infrastructure software for highly scalable and distributed systems.
- Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems.
- Proficient in C/C++, shell scripting.
- Proficient in L2/L3 networking.
- Contribution to the open-source community.
