Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Accountant to join our team at Melloy Industrial Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project-related financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in project accounting or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
