Job Title: Truck and Trailer Repairer

At CHROME DIESEL, we are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Repairer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
