Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-province payroll for 500-600 salaried employees, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.
  • Process time keeping and adjustments for 100+ hourly employees, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee full cycle payroll processing, including T4s and ROEs, to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Communicate effectively with onsite managers across Canada, providing payroll-related guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with the external payroll team to ensure seamless processing and minimize errors.
  • Monitor the payroll inbox and respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Calculate bonuses and implement improvements to internal payroll procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of full cycle Canadian Payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with software implementations and process improvement, with a focus on streamlining payroll processes.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a strong asset, with proficiency in using the software to manage payroll operations.
  • PCP required, PCM preferred, with a strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex payroll issues and develop effective solutions.
