Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Clerk to join our team at Almaho. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping inventory, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against invoices and other documents
  • Store and organize inventory in a secure and accessible manner, using inventory management systems to track stock levels and locations
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies to internal teams, using a just-in-time inventory system to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Process incoming requisitions and maintain accurate records of inventory movements
  • Unpack and inspect goods received, verifying quantities and conditions against invoices and other documents
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas, using a warehouse management system to optimize storage and retrieval processes
  • Pack goods to be shipped, using a packaging system to ensure safe and secure transportation
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, using a inventory management system to track stock levels and locations
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents, using a quality control system to ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role; experience with inventory management systems and procedures an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic
