Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team at Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems/ Pumps & Pressure in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our high-pressure wash systems, compressed air systems, and lubrication distribution systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tear down and repair of various portable pressure washers and air compressors
• Minor repair and tuning of portable gas engines
• Overhaul pumps of various types
• Install plumbing and piping systems
• Troubleshoot basic low-voltage AC/DC electrical systems
• Pull low-voltage electrical wire bundles
• Structural assembly of various mechanical equipment, including structural hangers, supports, struts, etc.
• Anchoring equipment supports into concrete walls and floors
• Read and navigate through layout drawings, blueprints, and schematics

Requirements:

• Physical ability to work with your hands in various positions, including overhead, lifting on a ladder or scissor lift, and in semi-enclosed areas
• Basic understanding of plumbing and piping types and their installation requirements
• Full understanding of power transmission components
• Basic understanding of fluid connectors and fasteners
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, including wire sizing and voltage requirements
• Basic understanding of fluid dynamics and compressed air principles
• Thorough understanding of basic hand tools and some power tools
• Safety compliant individual
• Clean driving record is an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Maintenance mechanic experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Rental equipment maintenance experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Automotive technician experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Journeyman certification (preferred)
