We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to fill the role of Lunchtime Monitor at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general supervision and monitoring of students during nutrition breaks
- Assist students with opening lunch containers and wiping hands and tables after eating
- Perform other related duties, including assistance with arrival and/or dismissal of students, supervision during recesses, and supervision in kindergarten classrooms
- Ability to act quickly in emergency situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Tact, diplomacy, and discretion in interactions within the school community
- First Aid training
- Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training
Please note that all new employees will be required to submit a Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and complete Ministry mandated training and Health and Safety training prior to their start date.
