About the Role

Creston Cab Company Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and calculating fixed assets and depreciation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Asset Management: Calculate and record fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
