Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping people see the world more clearly? We're looking for a skilled Optical Associate to join our team at FYidoctors, Canada's largest and most technologically advanced eyecare provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class service to patients, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality for their eyewear needs
  • Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with the selection of frames to suit their aesthetic and performance needs
  • Interpret optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear
  • Place Contact Lens orders and assist with fittings
  • Communicate with patients in person, by phone, and by email to provide excellent customer service
  • Billing the patient, their medical service provider, and other third parties
  • Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments
  • Warmly greet patients as they enter our clinic and uphold excellent customer service standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment
  • Previous optical experience is considered an asset
  • Passionate about customer service and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of comfort using technology and computers
  • A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
