We are seeking a skilled Lead Baker to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our bakery staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and baking of our iconic pastries, bread, and other sweet treats.

About the Role

As a Lead Baker, you will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

You will be responsible for leading by example, demonstrating exceptional baking skills, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, bread, and other sweet treats according to recipes and specifications
  • Oversee the inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
  • Train and develop junior team members in baking techniques and best practices
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • A valid Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including group insurance and 40 hours of work per week.
