About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Products Finisher Assistant to join our team at Vaughan Metal Polishing Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal surfaces.
  • Assist in transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions and grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Read and interpret work orders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
