About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team at CGS Federal (Contact Government Services). As an ISSO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and implement security controls.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity and trusted system technology to support security authorization activities.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including security plans, risk assessments, and authorization packages.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure the security of our clients' information systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Professional security certification, such as CISSP, CASP, or CompTIA Security+ CE.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and RMF.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • eMASS experience.
  • Strong initiative, detail orientation, organizational skills, and aptitude for analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a part of a team.
