Academic Gastroenterologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic gastroenterologist to join our team at McMaster University. The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Gastroenterology and will contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in neuro-gastroenterology and motility, with a focus on translational research.
  • Develop and implement advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound and device-assisted enteroscopy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to advance knowledge in the field.
  • Provide clinical care for patients with neuro-gastroenterological disorders.
  • Apply for grants to support research programs.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Residency training in Gastroenterology.
  • Strong track record in neuro-gastroenterology and motility research.
  • Proven expertise in performing advanced endoscopic procedures.
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
