About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Trainee to join our team at 3D LASER & FABRICATION INC. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to meet quality standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to precise tolerances.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Operate and set up conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality in meeting deadlines.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week.
