{"The Opportunity": "At Wajax Limited, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Motor Technician to join our team. As a Motor Winder, you will work with a dedicated team of mechanical professionals to wind, assemble, and install various types of coils. Your attention to detail and ability to read electrical schematics will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of our electrical apparatus.

Responsibilities:

* Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils
* Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
* Read and interpret diagrams
* Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors
* Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
* Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components
* Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear

Requirements:

* Trade certification, Electric Motor Systems Technician (EMST) Trade Certification would be an asset
* 5+ years of work experience
* Knowledge of welding or brazing components, reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams
* Ability to instruct apprentices
