Kitchen Assistant Job Description

At INDIAN FUSION, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are washed and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, and sanitizing equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, and preparing simple food items.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Assist with serving customers, including taking orders and serving food and beverages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment:

The Kitchen Assistant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity is essential for this role.
