About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Support Worker to join our team at Elite Developmental Services Inc. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Implement behavior support plans and provide positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Encourage socialization and participation in community activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a related field, such as Developmental Support Work or Social Service Work.
  • Current CPR/First Aid and Crisis Intervention/Safe Management certification.
  • Ability to provide physical management and support for aggressive behavior.
  • Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Proof of Vulnerable Sector Police check clearance and medical clearance for lifting and bending.
