Job Title: Grocery Store Supervisor

MaMa supermarket is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our supermarket, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of sales workers, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the ordering and stocking of merchandise, ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and that our inventory is accurately managed.
  • Manage cash and operate the cash register, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our store is always well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or supermarket environment.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask.
