Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Installation Specialist to join our team at Proplus Contracting. As an Aluminum Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing windows and doors made of aluminum, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install windows and doors made of aluminum, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient logistics.
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe access to work areas.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, understanding project requirements and constraints.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Work in a team environment, with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in window and door installation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
