Join Accoravillage's Corporate Tax team as a Tax Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the tax planning and compliance processes of our group of businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the tax return process, ensuring accurate calculations and reconciliations, and reviewing the work of tax analysts to complete returns.
- Maintain accurate records and working paper schedules to support tax returns and asset capitalization.
- Provide guidance to the team to enhance tax analysts' skills and promote team cohesion.
- Interface with tax auditors and government agencies, and work with the team to address audit queries and disputes.
- Collaborate with external tax, accounting, and legal firms to support tax processes.
- Offer tax advice to staff and senior management as needed.
- Prepare and maintain taxable income projections and tax cash flows for each entity.
- Perform special projects and assignments as required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Strong tax and financial accounting knowledge.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex Canadian corporate tax environment, with real estate experience an asset.
- Completion of the CICA In-depth tax course an asset.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
