Job Summary

Mulgrave School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics and Science Educator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and Science to students in Grades 10-12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum that aligns with the BC provincial and IB standards
  • Support students with challenges in Mathematics and/or Science, and provide additional support as needed
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
Requirements
  • BC teacher certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Science and/or Mathematics to adolescents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science in a similar educational setting
  • Advanced degree in a Science or Mathematics-related field
  • Proven track record of academic excellence and student achievement
