About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to take on a leadership role and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously. As a Project Development Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising construction procedures, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate construction procedures to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Supervise a team of professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, architects, and clients to determine project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage contracts, negotiate with subcontractors, and ensure timely payments.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. You will also require a solid understanding of construction and project management principles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or residential project management.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as PMP or equivalent. Familiarity with MS Office, including MS Project, and experience with Worksafe BC safety standards are also essential.
